I will write every day!

A promise I made but never kept. I have my reasons, of course. I’m working now. Although it is just kerja-sementara-dapat-kerja-yang-betul-betul kinda job, it sucks all the free time out of me pretty much every day except for the weekend. I like it, though. :) In fact, I really really like it.

I feel this is the practice I really need before I go for the real job. Get up in the early morning (which to my surprise, it’s actually not that hard if you sleep early! Woahh, I never knew that when I was a student :P)  and all the clerical duties that I think VERY important to every person on planet earth living in the 21st century. *lebih-lebih pulak kan. Heehe. It’s true, though.

Oh and i get to improve my communication skills! This is the most important. I am actually an introvert person and a bit shy. I enjoy thinking and exploring my thoughts and sometimes think having a big group of people around would drain my energy a bit. By big group I mean acquaintances, especially they are a bunch of loud people. :P It’s not like I don’t talk at all, but it feels like I have to push myself a tiny bit to talk. I talk a lot when I’m with my family and best friends, though (and sometimes other introverts or shy people :P maybe because I understand how they feel inside?) Although there’s nothing wrong of being introvert (and shy), there’s no harm of bringing the inner extrovert in me, right people? :)

Plusssss, it pays the bills. *sigh. Haha! Joke. I always wanted to say this, I don’t know why! Maybe I watch too much movies (Like "(500) days of Summer". The guy trained as an architect but works as a writer at a greeting card company and his job sucks. HAHA!) that show how one job sucks  but need to quit whining and just do it for the sake of the money. But in my case, I don’t really have a lot of bills to pay as I’m living with my parents and my job ain’t suck. :PP anddd, the pay is quite good too! way better than i expected. so all iz good. :D

One more thing happened. My pet bunny died. :( Although it was over a month now, I am still sad about it. Em, maybe I will talk about it in the next post?

I will end this post with the pictures of my fluffy furball, my baby Luna. :(

 I is snoozing.

 I is playing.

I miss you, Luna..

Have a good weekdays people.

p/s: i will not write everyday.

Holidays

I loove when people post up about their holiday trip on their blog because it always fills with a lot of pictures. Oh yes, everyone loves pictures! That is why I decided to write on my USA holiday trip last year. I know its kinda old story but I want to keep the promise I made to myself to write on this blog EVERYDAY,(although I kinda broke the promise since I didn't write anything yesterday..and the day before *coughs)  but believe it or not, its actually quite hard to write on things when I practically at home all day and night these days. I feel so pathetic now that I say it (more like type it) out loud. I need a job to keep me sane! *sigh. (Honestly, it's not as bad as you think. I actually like spending time at home playing with my niece and pet bunny, watch TV, eat, go out, come home, order Domino's, watch movies, learn how to cook and bake (paling fail), berbual dengan kakak, gaduh dengan kakak, online, sleep etc. who would hate it, seriously :P)

That's all for now.

Everybody loves Adam & Hawa

I loooove Adam & Hawa! Like seriously. To be honest, I couldn't recall the last Malay drama I watch but whatever it is, this is, by far, the best Malay drama I have ever watched! The story line is just so well put together (maybe because it based on novel) and so sad and happy at the same time, giving us the melancholy feeling all the way.

However, like any other movies or drama series in the world, there MUST be things that we don't like or find it a little bit..annoying? For this particular series, I got to say "THE PHONE SCENES". Adam & Hawa and their smartphones. Seems like most of them use smartphones. I'm totally okay with it, except..
they call no one with it.

LOL. I find it funny and annoying at the same time. we can obviously see the Home screen of that Iphone when she was trying to reach Ain at the time. Seriously, can you like fake a call or something. If you really dont want to fake it, then face the phone to the other way so we can't see the home screen. Simple.

I find this scene was crazy funny! This was the scene where Adam texting Ain saying "Adam will be waiting for Ain in front of the cinema, and if Ain is hungry, we could go eat first" and the picture below is the scene where Ain received the text.

because the scene is soo funny, I will break it into 3 points.(ceh)
1. Adam texting Ain at 7.21pm, but for some odd reason, Ain got the text at 3.58pm! wohh, thats too crazy.

2. The wording of the message, oh my gosh!. why oh why are they so different? Is Adam's Iphone has the mind of its own and change the wording of Adam's text message? My theory is Siri responsible for this. She must be jealous and change the wording. As you can see, the text Ain received seems a bit angrier with the double exclamation points. Em, seriously Siri?! Bad Siri.

3. You can see that Ain's phone says "NO SERVICE". Last time I check, you can't get a text message or phone call when there's no service. But, I let this pass lah because Iphone kadang-kadang tak betul jugak. Kejap no service, then ada balik.

But you get my point.

The scenes below are where Ejah sort of "forcing" her sister to go to the airport to meet Adam and his mom as they just got back from Umrah.

I like this scene so much! At last someone successfully pushed Ain to do something. So keras kepala that one. But I totally understand where she came from. She is soo stubborn because her past was soo traumatizing. Well, that's not actually the point. the point here is..again, the time on the iphone. Ain said to her sister earlier, she probably couldn't make it to the airport as it's already 6pm. But, after she got in the car and start driving, cursing Adam like she always do and guess what, she got a text. It was from Adam of course!, begging her to come for the sake of his mom. The saddest thing is, the time showed on the phone was 3.52pm. Ain must be a pure evil and a slow driver! When she got in the car, it was just 6pm, now its already 3.52pm? So my theory is Ain evilly let Adam and his mom spend one night at the airport, waiting for her to come. *sigh. Bad woman. But at least now we know why there's no service earlier. Ain is using Digi.

That's all for now and I hope you get my humour. Tata. I'm gonna watch Adam & Hawa on Astro-on-the-go on my ipad now.

Jobless Humaira is jobless.

To be honest, I'm feel a little offended by the title of this post. pfft. but yes, I'm jobless, sitting on my bed, doing absolutely nothing and feel pointless. I feel like my IQ drops 2 points everyday. GOSH, I NEED TO DO SOMETHING! I'm thinking of starting to post a blog post everyday. yes, thats right. every single day. At least that will make me feel better as I'm in the middle of job searching + considering whether or not to pursue the post-graduate study anyway, thus, I shall not waste my time doing stupid things like watching movies, dramas etc. I will find things to write about. See you!

the convocation day.

The day of my graduation, finally! Alhamdulillah. (before the very day, I was sooo worried that I might not be listed for 2012 convocation as I just graduated about a month before, thanks to rumour spreading around UIA, They said I will be listed for next convocation, which is October, NEXT YEAR! But, thank God, it was just a stupid rumour! Come to think of it now, why the heck am I not suppose to be on the list this year? I graduated a month before the convocation, not a day before. Gosh, these people! Just want to make me feel miserable huh. I kept having these nightmares that I look old and grumpy on my graduation day as it is a year from now. heehee. *exaggeration-to-the-max!
Testing out the cap before going to UIA. I mismatched the colour of the shawl and my baju kurung miserably as I didn't know that we suppose to wear cream scarf for the day when I choose the baju. LOL, my bad. oh well, is not like people can see my baju under the robe, right?

My face is soo scary looking! seriously, what happened? :P
the sister and the sister-in-law

Down below are array of  similar pictures of the family. Gosh! Just realized that I brought quite a crowd! LOL. Thank you so much for coming, Family! You guys are the best. p/s: There were few more of them not in the pictures.

Actually, this is not "the official" camera of the day. Thus, the pictures weren't that good. It was taken with my Nikon by..well, anyone who held the camera at the time. All in all, it was a wonderful. day. :) I was panicking the whole time until I finally got the scroll in my hands. Yay, officially graduated!

Officially done.

yes yes the word is out. Im officially done with everyhing. By everything i mean my undergraduate study. Im graduated! :) tak happy tak sedih. Or maybe more to sedih than happy. Its just that, i live my whole life, pretty much according to my simple predictable plan. Habis sekolah rendah, sekolah menengah, masuk universiti. The end. So now what? Im planning to do my master after my bachelor but now i think of other things and options too. Im not stressed out or anything it is just..em, feel like im starting a new chapter in life which i have zero clue what it is all about. I used to always have a lot of things that i want to do in mind and i still do but suddenly i feel a little bit..lost? (kot)

But whatever it is, im gonna do my best in anything and everything ahead in the future, insyaAllah. Allah knows what best for me.  InsyaAllah, aminnm amin ya rabbal alamin.

Okay i will stop rambling about the future, lets talk about the past. Which was few days ago. Heeehe. This is the picture of my niece. Taken in UIA. She is shoo shoo cute! Went to UIA for clearence before my convocation this october, insyaAllah.

Manja Diri with Nona, Remaja and The Body Shop

June 11th, 2011

I went to Manja Diri with Nona, Remaja and The Body Shop. well, actually i am not so sure about the name of the program but it is something like that. please don't correct me if I'm wrong.! I'm not in the mood to be corrected. *boleh tak macamtu? :p It is actually a grooming class with a bunch of people and lotsa skin care products and make-ups. Basically women will go crazy with these things. Heehe you get the idea right?

It was actually a last minute thing. My sister's friend wall-ed me yesterday asking if im free on saturday because her grooming partner can't make it. (Kak Nad works at Karangkraf btw ) to be honest, I usually would pass on this kinda thing, not that im not into make-up, skin care or anything, it's just that i am plain lazy. :B *senyum tunjuk gigi. But the fact that i am going to be home alone anyway because my mom and sis went back to Kelantan for few days, my bro was working and my dad as well, so i decided to go. why not, its not like i have better thing to do at home.

We decided to meet up somewhere in Shah Alam. i have the slightest clue on how to drive myself to Shah Alam. My plan was to just follow the signboard and find any landmark for Kak Nad to pick me up. But the Papago on my phone that never lead me to the right path of life before (ceh, i mean the right direction to anywhere lah :P ) magically worked. how cool is that? you do work when i need you the most ha? good good. *although it only worked for less then 10 minutes and the freaking navigation stopped when i in the middle of roundabout. i ended up go around it twice and decided to follow my instinct and guess what, i got there, safe and sound. *proud. Apparently instinct works when your GPS doesn't.

So we got in there and we had deliiicious breakfast before the class started. Nasi lemak always Malaysian's favorite and it definitely my favorite-est breakfast when the sambal is not spicy. Okay, let's start the grooming class people! We got the table at the back which was great so we can see the whole class. oh we got a goody bag from The Body Shop worth RM120. thank you The Body Shop.! First hour we learnt about our skin and all the skin care products. Which is suitable with our skin and all. Let me tell you, the speaker (speaker ke? eh i dont know what to call her. alah, the one with mic la senang cerita :P) was VERY energetic which helped a lot in keeping myself awake the whole session. To be honest, I'm not really interested in skin care products before but after learning and knowing so many things from the class, now i can see how important it is. seriously it is important! wayyy more important than make-up. and did you know that your aging process starts at the age of 25? weh, that's too early! so start take care of your skin now before it too late. ehem. moving on. when the speaker (?) talked about type of skin which are normal, dry, oily and combination, i confidently thought that i have combination skin but suddenly the speaker pointed out people with dry skin the class and i was one of them! *shocked. The skin care session was surprisingly fun and informative to tell you the truth.

After that we moved to the next session which is the session everybody excited about, which is...make-up time! But first, we have to wipe all the make-up that we already have. haaa we can see the flaws on our face very clearly now. haha. We started off with all the skin care products which were very refreshing. *I plan to buy all of them...eventually. ehem. they we put our make-up on. we have to follow steps that they thought us. Kak Nad and I were very much excited to try the smokey eyes. I have never done heavy eye makeup EVER. So when I put it on, all I can think about "how the hell am i going to clean this up when i get home? too much hassle" It was so much fun putting all sorts of things on our face especially when you know the right way to do it. The people from The Body Shop walked around so that people can ask questions which was really cool. oh and they also were looking for the best make-up for every table. I was not really thrill for that, what i was more excited was how thick are my black liner and black eye shadow should be for the smokey eyes look. Really, I had so much fun  wasted  that much make up especially when it's freeeeeee. hehe. when they say the time is up, i grabbed a lips stain and put it on so that i look more human and less raccoon.
When they pointed out the one winner for every table, I was still busy lipstain-ing my lips and i was completely in shocked when they pointed me to go in front as I was the winner. Seriously I didn't expected that at all because I thought the Indian girl besides me did pretty eye make-up but I dont know for some reason i won. haha. I went infront and took a few pictures with the prize in our hand (the Body Shop powder foundation--which I already bought from HK -.-)

It was a fun fun day for me, thanks Kak Nad!

24th May 2012

OMG, I just found this post on draft! HAHA! For some reason, I didn't post this on my blog. I don't know why. It is such a waste. Thus, I decided to post this up, although it contains an irrelevant content like the contest! heehe. Oh, I didn't win (I think). Well, they didn't contact me or anything, so I must have lost right. :B

Later blog. :)

no, i didn't forget i have a blog, i just forgot the password..

yes, the title of  the blog post said it all. I FORGOT MY PASSWORD!

And yes, virtual headdesk for me, I deserved it.
..and the worst part is, I didn't even bother to find the password (in my brain).
Anyway, final exam starts in few days.. *double headdesk.
Can't believe this is my final long semester before graduation. *triple headdesk.

Okay I should stop with the headdesk. It's not even funny if you repeat the same lame joke thrice, Humaira.
You know what I should be doing right now? STUDY MY HEART OUT! Yep, that's right.
Instead of doing what I should, I'm doing what I want. I am here. Oh actually the reason why I'm here is because I just had a sudden revelation of what my long-lost password is. HAHA.
I have no idea why it suddenly popped up in my mind (while I was reading up the class notes for Foreign Policy Decision Making) *good job, brain!

I should go. Later blog.! :)
